COMBUSTION AND GASIFICATION
Einco has a long history in developing
circulating fluidized bed (CFB) boiler technology. Our role has been important
in development of several CFB-boilers, like Ecofire® and Cymic®.
CTC-REACTOR
The s.c. Controlled Temperature Combustion (CTC) reactor
is the latest advance in Einco's CFB combustion/gasification technology development.
This design has two unique aspects:
- A patented temperature control method, which rises combustion process control to an all new level.
- Innovative boiler structural design which eliminates several problems with traditional CFB-boilers.
PROCESS ADVANTAGES
CTC-reactor has unique combustion temperature and oxidization control characteristics thus offering
advantages in combustion/gasification process:
- Totally automatic boiler temperature control
- Boiler temperature independent of fuel quality, moisture fluctuations, etc.
- No bed slagging
- Accurate control of gasification/post-combustion level, if desired
- Minimal emissions
- Separate high-temperature post-combustion possible in an integerated combustor, if needeed
- High turn-down ratio

- Heat surfaces are not exposed to corrosion and erosion

APPLICATIONS
CTC-reactor is an ideal solution for demanding combustion applications.
Because CTC-reactor allows combustion of wastes and other low-grade fuels, the savings in
plant fuel costs can be very significant.
- Waste combustion and co-combustion: meets Waste Incineration Directive 2000/76/EC regulations
- Low-grade fuel combustion
